How to use Essential oils to manage ANGER

Anger is a very normal and common emotion that should be dealt with, in some people, it can get out of control and it becomes disruptive and in some cases even dangerous. Anger can vary from mild irritation to outright fury. As this very powerful emotion becomes more intense, you can also see changes in your body like heart racing, blood pressure, adrenaline, and noradrenaline. This can be dangerous for those with heart conditions or hypertension. A very healthy way to deal with anger is focusing that negative energy into something positive like painting, dancing, working out, or just doing something that you enjoy.

But, is there anything that essential oils can do to help?

When it comes to emotions, aromatherapy can be very beneficial. When essential oils are inhaled, smell receptors in the nose send a message to the limbic system in charge of behaviour and emotions. This is also connected to our hormones, memory, stress, and blood pressure. Some oils have a very calming effect on the brain and body and can be used in times of irritation, frustration, and/or anger to reduce the intensity of these feelings.
